About the Role
Early Code is a leading tech education provider dedicated to helping learners quickly acquire and apply practical coding and digital skills. We empower individuals to code logical operations, design applications, and build websites. We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Basic Computer Instructor to join our team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in teaching students essential computer skills, fostering digital literacy, and building their confidence in navigating modern technological tools for academic and professional success.
Key Responsibilities- Teach fundamental computer operations, digital literacy, and safe internet browsing practices.
- Deliver comprehensive training on Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email management, and file organisation.
- Prepare, plan, and deliver practical, highly engaging lessons tailored to diverse learning speeds.
- Assess student progress regularly through hands-on assignments, practical tasks, and targeted exercises.
- Provide continuous guidance, motivation, and technical support to students throughout their training journey.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging basic computer applications, educational tech, and digital tools.
- Possession of an OND, HND, B.Sc. or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, ICT, Education, or a related field.
- Solid, practical knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and foundational computer operations.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to effectively convey technical concepts.
- Previous teaching, tutoring, or IT training experience will be a distinct advantage.
