About the Role
Muse Boutique Hotel is an upscale, five-star hospitality establishment situated in Independence Layout, Enugu, designed to cater to corporate executives, discerning business travelers, and premium leisure guests. We are currently seeking a talented and charismatic Bartender to join our elite food and beverage team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting premium beverages, delivering world-class customer service, and maintaining a sophisticated, welcoming bar environment that reflects our commitment to luxury and excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and upscale hotel standards.
- Greet guests warmly, assess their preferences, and provide expert cocktail recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and fully stocked bar area adhering to strict health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Handle cash and electronic transactions accurately using the hotel's Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Manage bar inventory, place requisitions promptly, and minimize stock wastage.
- Collaborate seamlessly with the kitchen and waiting staff to ensure prompt and efficient service for all guests.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven bartending experience within an upscale hotel, luxury lounge, or fine dining restaurant.
- In-depth knowledge of mixology, classic cocktails, wines, spirits, and modern beverage trends.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
- Relevant certification in hospitality management, mixology, or a related field is a distinct advantage.
- Must reside in Enugu or be willing to relocate.
