About the Role
West Swiss Hotel, through our recruitment partner Domeo Resources International (DRI), is seeking a friendly, skilled, and customer-focused Bartender to join our vibrant Food and Beverage team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering memorable guest experiences by crafting exceptional drinks and providing top-tier hospitality in a dynamic hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, wines, and spirits according to hotel standards.
- Greet guests warmly, take accurate orders, and provide expert recommendations on beverage selections.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area before, during, and after service hours.
- Monitor inventory levels, report low stock, and manage supplies efficiently to minimize waste and loss.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately, processing guest bills and handling cash or electronic payments responsibly.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Collaborate seamlessly with waiters, kitchen staff, and the Food and Beverage supervisor to guarantee smooth event and daily operations.
- Minimum of SSCE / WAEC / NECO qualification.
- 1 to 3 years of proven experience working as a Bartender, Bar Attendant, or similar hospitality role in a hotel, lounge, or reputable restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail recipes, spirits, wines, and beers.
- Proficiency in basic POS operations and cash handling.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Relevant bartending or hospitality certifications will be an added advantage.
