About the Role
Singapore View Hotel and Suites, a premier hospitality destination located in Uruagu, Nnewi, Anambra State, is seeking a talented and dedicated Barman to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the face of our bar service, responsible for crafting excellent beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and delivering top-notch customer service to our esteemed guests. Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Welcome guests warmly, take drink orders accurately, and provide expert menu recommendations.
- Maintain absolute cleanliness and organization of the bar area, glassware, and equipment in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Manage bar inventory, monitor stock levels, and report replenishment needs to management promptly.
- Handle cash and electronic transactions accurately using the hotel point-of-sale system.
- Ensure responsible service of alcohol and manage guest relations professionally at all times.
- Interested candidates should possess a minimum of an OND qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Proven working experience as a bartender or barman in a hotel, lounge, or restaurant setting is an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Residency in or around Nnewi, Anambra State, or willingness to relocate.
