About the Role
De Santiago Milan Hotel and Suites is a top-class luxury hotel renowned for its elegance, glamour, and superior hospitality services tailored for corporate, business, and leisure travelers. We are currently looking for a skilled and vibrant Barman to join our dynamic food and beverage team. In this role, you will be the face of our bar, crafting exceptional drinks and creating a welcoming, sophisticated atmosphere for our esteemed guests.
Key Responsibilities- Mix and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails, draft beers, and fine wines, strictly following established recipes and hotel standards.
- Greet visitors warmly, take accurate drink orders, and offer expert beverage recommendations suited to individual guest preferences.
- Operate the computerized point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently, process payments accurately, and balance daily cash receipts at the end of each shift.
- Monitor and manage bar inventory, track supplies, restock bottles promptly, and meticulously prepare fresh cocktail garnishes.
- Maintain a spotless, organized, and hygienic bar environment by regularly washing glassware, wiping counters, and adhering strictly to health and safety regulations.
- Proven professional experience working as a Barman, Bartender, or Mixologist, preferably within the upscale hospitality or hotel industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and advanced cocktail mixing techniques.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, customer-focused attitude and immense patience.
- High physical stamina, with the ability to stand for extended periods and comfortably lift heavy items such as beverage cases and kegs.
- Strong understanding of responsible beverage service, local compliance laws, and the ability to monitor guest alcohol intake for safety.
