About the Role
Tonic Technologies Limited is a forward-thinking FinTech startup founded in 2019, dedicated to revolutionizing virtual and professional monetary solutions and payment remittances across Nigeria. We are currently seeking a talented B2C Community Manager to serve as the voice, vibe, and energy of our growing digital community. In this fully remote role, you will drive daily engagement across X (Twitter), Telegram, Instagram, and TikTok, turning internet culture and trending moments into meaningful connections for our web and mobile users.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day interactions, replies, and community engagement across X, Telegram, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Spot emerging trends, memes, and cultural moments in Nigeria to create timely, relatable content.
- Monitor community sentiment, routing technical issues to support and positive feedback to the appropriate teams.
- Plan and execute engaging community activations, giveaways, and campaigns, including football-led initiatives with Tonic FC.
- Translate community feedback and insights into actionable data for the product, marketing, and support teams.
- Handle tense or negative situations professionally to protect and uphold the company brand reputation.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in community management, social media, or a related role, preferably within the fintech industry.
- Degree or HND in Mass Communication, Marketing, English, or a related field is an advantage, though exceptional practical experience is prioritized.
- Deep fluency in Nigerian internet culture and online community behaviors across major social platforms.
- Sharp, witty writing skills with a natural sense of humor and sound judgment during online discussions.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fully remote environment as a Nigerian resident.
