About the Role
Join our automobile company as an Auto Repair Quality Control Manager, where you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of vehicle repair and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections before, during, and after repair work to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
- Monitor the quality of panel beating, spray painting, mechanical repairs, and bodywork to identify defects and recurring issues
- Establish, implement, and maintain standardized quality-control procedures throughout the workshop
- Perform final quality inspections and authorize vehicle release to customers
- Review customer complaints, investigate root causes, and coordinate corrective action plans
- Maintain detailed inspection reports, repair records, and quality documentation
- Train workshop staff on quality standards, proper repair procedures, and equipment usage
- Conduct regular audits of workshop processes and completed repair work
- Monitor repair turnaround times while maintaining quality excellence
- Collaborate with panel beaters, spray painters, mechanics, service advisors, and management
- Ensure full compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Identify improvement opportunities to reduce rework, defects, and customer complaints
- Proven experience in automotive quality control or workshop management
- Strong knowledge of vehicle repair processes, safety standards, and quality assurance
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Leadership and communication skills with the ability to train and motivate staff
- Proficiency in quality management systems and documentation
