About the Role
Teestone Hotel & Apartments is a premier modern boutique hotel located in the peaceful neighborhood of Ikeja, just 15 minutes from Murtala Muhammed International Airport. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional hospitality and seamless operational standards. We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Auto Maintenance Personnel to join our team in Lagos. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our fleet of vehicles remains safe, reliable, and fully operational to support guest services and hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine inspections, servicing, and preventive maintenance of all hotel and company vehicles.
- Diagnose and efficiently repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in various vehicle types.
- Perform essential upkeep tasks including oil changes, brake checks, battery tests, and tyre rotations.
- Inspect critical vehicle components such as engines, transmissions, steering, and suspension systems.
- Procure replacement parts and collaborate with approved external workshops for specialized heavy repairs.
- Maintain comprehensive, accurate logs of all vehicle servicing, mileage, fuel consumption, and repair histories.
- Respond promptly to emergency vehicle breakdowns and provide effective on-site or off-site solutions.
- Ensure all vehicles strictly comply with Nigerian road safety laws and company operating standards.
- Keep the maintenance workshop and all automotive tools clean, organized, and in optimal working condition.
- Minimum of an SSCE / WAEC / NECO qualification; formal technical or automotive training is a strong advantage.
- Proven professional experience working as an auto mechanic, vehicle technician, or maintenance personnel.
- Comprehensive knowledge of modern vehicle engines, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex automotive issues independently.
- Proficiency in using basic automotive hand tools, garage equipment, and diagnostic tools.
- Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform rigorous, hands-on mechanical work daily.
- Possession of a valid Nigerian driver's license with clean driving records is a significant plus.
