About the Role
De Tastee Group (TFC), a leading hospitality outfit renowned for our quick-service restaurants, outdoor catering, and event management, is seeking a meticulous and analytical Auditor to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining our high standards of financial accountability, inventory control, and operational transparency across our bustling business units.
Key Responsibilities- Gather, extract, and consolidate data from multiple internal and external databases, APIs, and transactional systems using Python, R, Excel, or Google Sheets.
- Perform daily cash counts of main sales and petty cash with cashiers, alongside cash evacuations and POS receipt reconciliations.
- Conduct physical verification of all supplies from the warehouse, Central Processing Unit (CPU), and external vendors for both perishable and non-perishable items.
- Audit Product Transfer Notes (PTN) against Product Movement Forms (PMF) and review Daily Product Comparative Analysis (DPCS) reports to identify shortages.
- Execute daily stock-taking of closing inventory at production units and review stock control sheets, material usage reports, and accounts payable documentation.
- Ensure all outlet expenses are properly authorized in accordance with company policy and verify daily bank lodgments.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong proficiency in statistical programming languages such as Python or R, alongside advanced spreadsheet skills in Excel and Google Sheets.
- Demonstrated experience in data extraction, financial reconciliation, and enterprise IT support or systems administration.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and high integrity in handling financial transactions.
- Previous auditing experience within the quick-service restaurant (QSR) or hospitality industry is a distinct advantage.
