About the Role
Mondelez International is a global snacking powerhouse with an unrivaled portfolio of beloved brands, including Cadbury Bournvita, TomTom, and Trebor Buttermint. We are looking for a commercially astute and results-driven Category Finance Manager to act as the end-to-end finance business partner for our West Africa beverage and biscuit category portfolio, helping shape our commercial strategy and deliver financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Own the full category P&L end-to-end, driving accurate monthly forecasting, rolling estimates, reporting, and rigorous variance management.
- Act as the primary strategic financial adviser to the Category and Marketing leadership teams, providing actionable insights to influence business decisions.
- Partner with Marketing and Sales to evaluate brand investments, advertising efficiency, pricing strategies, and trade spend allocation.
- Lead financial planning processes, including annual contract development, strategic plans, and robust business case preparation for innovation projects.
- Ensure a strong controls and compliance environment across the category scope in alignment with corporate policies and local regulations.
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related business discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with at least 5 years of progressive finance experience in the FMCG sector.
- Deep understanding of commercial drivers, consumer packaged goods dynamics, and local snacking market trends.
