Key Responsibilities- Participate in the planning and execution of comprehensive external audit engagements.
- Perform detailed audit fieldwork, including rigorous testing of financial transactions and internal controls.
- Prepare accurate audit working papers and robust supporting documentation.
- Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements and formal audit reports.
- Identify critical audit issues and communicate findings effectively to senior team members.
- Ensure strict compliance with applicable accounting, auditing, and regulatory standards.
- Liaise professionally and courteously with clients throughout the audit process.
- Support other assurance and advisory engagements as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in external audit, ideally within a reputable professional services or audit firm.
- Sound knowledge of modern accounting principles and international auditing standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other essential Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Uncompromising integrity, exceptional attention to detail, and high professional standards.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Competitive monthly salary of NGN 200,000, with slight negotiation possible based on experience and suitability.
