Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Veterinary Surgery and Radiology to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, master's theses, and doctoral dissertations.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Contribute to curriculum development and enhancement within the Department of Veterinary Medicine.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative duties and committees.
- Provide clinical services and veterinary care within the university veterinary teaching hospital.
- Engage in community outreach programs and professional veterinary associations.
- Possess a PhD in Veterinary Surgery, Radiology, or a closely related relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Must hold a First Degree with a minimum of a Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division with a PhD.
- Demonstrate substantial years of tertiary-level teaching, academic research, and extensive peer-reviewed publications.
- Show evidence of academic leadership, grant-securing capabilities, and successful postgraduate student supervision.
- Possess a valid license to practice veterinary medicine from the relevant regulatory body in Nigeria.
