In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of veterinary education in Nigeria by delivering exceptional lectures, mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students, and driving impactful research within the field of Veterinary Obstetrics and Reproductive Diseases.
Key Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Veterinary Obstetrics and Reproductive Diseases.
- Supervise student research projects, theses, and dissertations at various academic levels.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees to support academic administration and institutional growth.
- Engage in community service and veterinary outreach programs that advance animal health and agricultural productivity in Nigeria.
- Possession of a PhD in Veterinary Obstetrics and Reproductive Diseases or a closely related relevant field.
- A stellar academic background featuring a First Degree not below Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division with a PhD.
- Substantial years of tertiary-level teaching experience, coupled with a robust portfolio of academic research and publications.
