Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for undergraduate medical students in the field of Surgery.
- Participate in curriculum development, student assessment, and academic mentoring.
- Conduct impactful research, publish findings in peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to the department's academic reputation.
- Assist in the administration of departmental duties and participate in faculty meetings and university committees.
- Collaborate with medical colleagues and healthcare professionals on clinical research and community outreach programs.
- Possession of a First Degree with not below a Second-Class Upper Division in a relevant discipline, or a Second-Class Lower Division with a completed PhD.
- Must hold a Master's degree in a relevant field with a PhD currently in progress.
- Demonstrated evidence of teaching potential and active research experience or potential.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills suited for an academic setting.
- Registration with relevant professional regulatory bodies in Nigeria is an added advantage.
