We invite qualified academics to join our Department of Sociology as an Associate Professor. In this role, you will contribute to advancing sociological knowledge, conducting impactful research, and fostering intellectual excellence among our diverse student body. You will be instrumental in shaping contemporary sociology curricula while upholding our commitment to academic rigor and international standards.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct scholarly research and publish in peer-reviewed journals
- Deliver high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate lectures
- Supervise student research projects and thesis work
- Contribute to curriculum development and academic policy
- Mentor junior faculty and support departmental initiatives
- Engage in community outreach and knowledge dissemination
- Ph.D. in Sociology or closely related discipline
- Minimum 10 publications in scholarly peer-reviewed journals
- At least 8 years of teaching, research, and university experience
- Demonstrated expertise in contemporary sociological scholarship
- Strong commitment to academic excellence and mentorship
