About the Role
Mewar International University (MIU) Nigeria, established in 2021, is West Africa's leading institution bridging elite Indian academic pedagogy with Nigeria's evolving industrial demands. We are seeking an exceptional Senior Lecturer in Economics to join our growing faculty and help architect the next generation of global professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality lectures and seminars in Economics to undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Develop and refine curriculum aligned with international standards and Nigerian regulatory requirements
- Conduct and publish original research in peer-reviewed journals
- Supervise student research projects, theses, and dissertations
- Contribute to departmental strategic planning and institutional development
- Mentor junior faculty and support academic excellence across the institution
- Ph.D. in Economics or closely related discipline
- Minimum 6 years of teaching experience in recognized higher education institutions
- At least 8 publications in peer-reviewed scholarly journals
- Strong research profile and demonstrated commitment to academic excellence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
