Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures and comprehensive instruction in Medical Biochemistry to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
- Conduct high-impact research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and secure research grants.
- Mentor students, supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects, and provide academic guidance.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and academic committee service.
- Engage in clinical duties and community service initiatives as required by the university.
- Foster collaborative partnerships with other departments and external academic or healthcare institutions.
- Possession of an MBBS or BDS as a first degree from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Relevant postgraduate academic qualification appropriate for the rank of Associate Professor or Reader.
- Demonstrated teaching, research, clinical, and scholarly experience commensurate with the position.
- Strong portfolio of verifiable publications in reputable peer-reviewed national and international journals.
- Active registration with the relevant professional regulatory body alongside a valid practising licence.
