Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials in Anatomy to undergraduate and postgraduate medical and health science students.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, theses, and dissertations while mentoring junior academic staff.
- Conduct impactful, peer-reviewed research and publish findings in reputable local and international scientific journals.
- Participate actively in curriculum development, departmental administration, and academic committee meetings.
- Contribute to clinical training and community service initiatives associated with the university's medical programs.
- Ensure compliance with National Universities Commission (NUC) standards and professional accreditation requirements.
- Possession of an MBBS or BDS degree from a recognized and accredited institution.
- A relevant higher postgraduate degree (such as a Ph.D. or Master's) appropriate for the rank of Associate Professor or Reader.
- Extensive teaching, research, and scholarly publication record commensurate with the applied rank in peer-reviewed journals.
- Active registration with the relevant Nigerian professional regulatory body accompanied by a valid, current practising licence.
- Demonstrated capability in academic leadership, curriculum delivery, and student mentorship.
- All academic credentials must be fully verifiable from recognized awarding bodies.
