Federal University Lafia, a vibrant and rapidly growing institution established in 2011 in Nasarawa State, is seeking a dedicated and accomplished academic for the position of Associate Professor in the Faculty of Radiography & Applied Health Science. Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Associate Professor in Radiography, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic landscape of the department. Your primary duties will include:
- Delivering high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in radiography and applied health sciences.
- Supervising research projects for both Master's and Ph.D. students to foster the next generation of healthcare professionals.
- Conducting cutting-edge research and publishing scholarly articles in reputable national and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Participating in curriculum development, departmental administration, and community engagement initiatives.
- Mentoring junior academic staff and contributing to the overall strategic growth of the Faculty of Radiography & Applied Health Science.
To be considered for this prestigious academic position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must currently hold the rank of Associate Professor in a recognized university.
- Possess a Ph.D. in Radiography or a closely related relevant field from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrate a strong record of outstanding and continuing teaching experience at the university level.
- Have a minimum of fifteen (15) publications in reputable international and national academic journals.
- Provide a proven record of successful supervision of postgraduate (Master's and Ph.D.) students.
