Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Pharmaceutical Microbiology and Biotechnology.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, as well as Master of Science and Ph.D. dissertations.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and publish findings in reputable national and international journals.
- Contribute to curriculum development and program enhancement within the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university committee meetings and administrative duties.
- Mentor junior academic staff and students to foster academic and professional growth.
- Must currently hold the rank of Associate Professor or be a senior academic ready for progression.
- Possess a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a closely related relevant field from a recognized university.
- Demonstrate a strong portfolio of outstanding and continuing teaching experience in a tertiary institution.
- Must have a minimum of fifteen (15) publications in reputable international and national peer-reviewed journals.
- Proven record of successful supervision of postgraduate students at both M.Sc. and Ph.D. levels.
