Key Responsibilities- Teach, mentor, and assess undergraduate and postgraduate students in Microbiology and related courses.
- Provide visionary academic and administrative leadership within the Department of Microbiology and the broader Faculty of Science and Technology.
- Conduct high-impact, cutting-edge research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Facilitate strong linkages between the university and industry stakeholders to enhance practical training and collaborative research opportunities.
- Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and theses at various academic levels.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and university committee assignments.
- Must possess a Ph.D. with a strict specialization in Microbiology from a recognized and accredited university.
- A minimum of 9 years of post-qualification, full-time, and relevant teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
