Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Associate Professor, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the department's academic and research profiles. Core duties include:
- Delivering high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Medical Laboratory Science.
- Mentoring and supervising Master's and Ph.D. students through their research theses.
- Conducting impactful, peer-reviewed research and publishing in reputable national and international journals.
- Participating in curriculum development and departmental quality assurance initiatives.
- Engaging in academic administration, community service, and university committee assignments.
Applicants must meet the following rigorous academic and professional criteria:
- Must currently hold the rank of Associate Professor or equivalent at a recognized university.
- Possess a Ph.D. in Medical Laboratory Science or a closely related relevant field.
- Demonstrate a strong portfolio of outstanding and continuing teaching experience in a university setting.
- Provide a minimum of fifteen (15) publications in reputable international and national academic journals.
- Possess a proven track record of successfully supervising postgraduate students at both Master's and Ph.D. levels.
