Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality lectures, seminars, and tutorials in International Relations at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and publish findings in reputable local and international journals.
  • Mentor students, supervise undergraduate and postgraduate theses, and provide comprehensive academic advising.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and program enhancement within the Social Sciences department.
  • Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative duties and committees.
  • Forge and maintain strong collaborative relationships with relevant public and private sector organizations.

Qualifications
  • Must possess a Ph.D. in International Relations or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
  • A minimum of 9 years of post-qualification, full-time, relevant teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
  • A robust track record of academic and administrative leadership, including successful mentoring of junior faculty and students.
  • Extensive portfolio of relevant publications in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
  • Demonstrated ability to attract research grants and build linkages with industry stakeholders.
