Key Responsibilities- Provide strong academic and administrative leadership within the Department of Information Science and Media Studies.
- Engage in high-impact teaching, curriculum development, and mentoring of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Conduct rigorous, publication-worthy research in reputable local and international journals.
- Establish and maintain robust linkages between the university, industry stakeholders, and the public sector.
- Contribute actively to departmental meetings, faculty committees, and university-wide community service initiatives.
- Must possess a Ph.D. with a strict specialization in Information Science, Media Studies, or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of nine (9) years of post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience in a recognized tertiary institution.
- Demonstrated track record of academic leadership, administrative capability, and student mentorship.
- Strong portfolio of relevant publications in high-reputation local and international academic journals.
