Key Responsibilities- Provide academic leadership in the Department of Human Physiology within the College of Medicine.
- Engage in high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, curriculum development, and student mentorship.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects and dissertations.
- Conduct cutting-edge research and maintain a robust publication record in peer-reviewed national and international journals.
- Contribute to departmental administration, faculty meetings, and university committees as assigned.
- Foster partnerships and collaborations aligned with the university's strategic goals.
- Must possess a PhD in Human Physiology or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of eight (8) years of cognate university teaching and research experience.
- Demonstrated strong record of peer-reviewed publications in reputable academic journals.
- Proven capacity for postgraduate teaching, supervision, and academic leadership.
- Current professional registration and a valid practicing licence where applicable.
- Proficiency in ICT-driven teaching and learning methods, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
