About the Role
The Federal University Lafia invites applications from suitably qualified and dynamic academic professionals for the position of Associate Professor in Haematology and Blood Transfusion within the Faculty of Basic Clinical Sciences. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Haematology and Blood Transfusion.
- Supervise research projects for both Master's and Ph.D. students.
- Conduct innovative, high-impact research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed national and international journals.
- Contribute to curriculum development and academic administration within the Faculty of Basic Clinical Sciences.
- Mentor junior academic staff and participate in departmental and university committees.
- Must currently hold the rank of Associate Professor or equivalent in a recognized university.
- Possess a Ph.D. in Haematology, Blood Transfusion, or a closely related relevant field.
- Demonstrate a strong portfolio of at least fifteen (15) publications in reputable international and national academic journals.
- Show proven experience in successfully supervising postgraduate students at both M.Sc. and Ph.D. levels.
- Provide evidence of outstanding and continuing academic achievement and university-level teaching experience.
