Babcock University, a private institution owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church since 1999, invites applications from distinguished academics for the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical/Electronic Engineering. Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate instruction in electrical and electronic engineering disciplines
- Conduct original research and publish findings in reputable local and international journals
- Supervise and mentor graduate students and junior academic staff
- Contribute to curriculum development and academic program enhancement
- Participate in departmental and university governance and administrative functions
- Engage with industry and professional bodies to strengthen practical applications
- PhD in Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or closely related discipline
- Minimum nine (9) years of continuous university teaching and research experience
- At least three (3) years as Senior Lecturer or equivalent position
- At least twenty (20) peer-reviewed publications in local and international journals demonstrating specialization
- Current registration with the Council for Engineering Regulation of Nigeria (COREN) with active practicing licence
- Demonstrated administrative, field, or industry-related experience
- Strong commitment to academic excellence and research innovation
