Key Responsibilities- Provide exemplary academic and administrative leadership within the Department of Accounting and the School of Business Studies.
- Teach, mentor, and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students, fostering an engaging and intellectually stimulating learning environment.
- Conduct high-impact research with a strong bias for publishing in reputable local and international academic journals.
- Forge and maintain strategic linkages and collaborations with the corporate world to enhance student employability and practical learning.
- Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring programs meet the evolving manpower needs of both industry and the public sector.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, community service, and academic governance.
- Must possess a Ph.D. with a specialization in Accounting or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of nine (9) years of post-qualification, full-time, relevant teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- Demonstrated track record of academic leadership, administrative capability, and effective student mentoring.
- A robust portfolio of relevant publications in reputable local and international peer-reviewed journals.
