About the Role
Beacon Power Services has been at the forefront of developing innovative energy management software and providing advanced energy analytics in Nigeria since 2010. We are currently seeking a results-driven and highly organized Associate – PMO to support the translation of client commitments into clearly defined, executable projects, ensuring they are delivered efficiently, on time, and to our highest quality standards. In this vital role, you will champion project coordination, delivery discipline, governance, and cross-functional alignment while collaborating closely with internal technology and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development of comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables while maintaining up-to-date project trackers.
- Track project dependencies, risks, and potential issues, coordinating cross-functional actions to ensure timely delivery against agreed timelines.
- Prepare regular project updates, facilitate stakeholder meetings, and maintain clear documentation of decisions and action items.
- Support budget tracking, resource allocation, project sign-offs, and post-project reviews to capture key lessons learned.
- Demonstrated experience in a PMO, project coordination, or similar support role within a multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in modern project management tools such as Jira or Trello, alongside familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban frameworks.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills with a high-ownership, autonomous mindset suited for a hybrid work culture.
- Industry background or exposure to energy, utilities, infrastructure, cleantech, or relevant certifications like PMP and PRINCE2 is a strong plus.
