We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Logistics Manager to join our growing team and help drive our operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive daily and hourly logistics plans based on accurate gas demand forecasts and customer flow rates.
  • Coordinate closely with plant operators and the operations department to seamlessly align dispatch with production output.
  • Formulate and execute robust contingency plans for potential route disruptions, transport delays, or emergency situations.
  • Supervise dispatch schedules to ensure all vehicle documentation is complete, up-to-date, and legally compliant.
  • Oversee real-time tracking of fleet movement to guarantee strict route compliance, speed management, and timely client delivery.
  • Lead logistics officers to ensure all fleet activities rigorously comply with company safety regulations and HSE policies.
  • Review and validate comprehensive logistics reports covering daily dispatch logs, fuel consumption, delivery confirmations, and vehicle maintenance status.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of proven logistics experience, preferably within the Nigerian oil and gas or energy sector.
  • Solid working knowledge of fleet operations, GPS tracking systems, safety procedures, and local transportation laws.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel and modern logistics management software, such as ERP systems or specialized fleet management tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Prior experience in CNG or NGV operations is considered a distinct advantage.
  • Fluency in the Hausa language is an added advantage for regional route coordination.
