We are seeking a skilled Associate Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic team at our Reliance Family Clinics. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the patient care continuum by performing accurate diagnostic testing, maintaining strict quality control, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency within our laboratory.
Key Responsibilities- Collect, label, and process biological samples including blood, urine, and tissue with utmost precision to prevent contamination or mix-ups.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment such as microscopes and automated analyzers.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and ensuring safe medical waste disposal.
- Perform routine and urgent diagnostic tests efficiently to aid physicians in prompt patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate digital records of all test results while upholding data privacy standards.
- Contribute to the laboratory's Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure seamless daily operations.
- Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences (BMLS) or Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Sciences (BSc MLS).
- Valid and current practicing license issued by the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
- Completed NYSC with a valid discharge or exemption certificate.
- Proximity to the clinic location with the ability to commute easily.
- Certification in Quality Management Systems and experience with LIMS are distinct advantages.
