About the Role
Evidence Action is looking for an analytical leader to join our Monitoring, Learning, and Evaluation team in West and Central Africa. In this role, you will direct the analysis of cleaned program data to generate actionable insights, design measurement strategies, and guide our program improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Direct rigorous statistical analysis of program data using Stata, R, or Python to generate decision-ready reports.
- Contribute to measurement, sampling, and survey design in collaboration with the Program Data Management team.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear reports, dashboards, and visualizations for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Supervise, mentor, and support the professional development of the Senior Associate, Program Data Analytics.
- Ensure seamless information flow between the analytics team and program implementers to foster evidence-based decision-making.
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Public Health, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 5 years of quantitative data analysis experience, including mentoring or managing junior analysts.
- Strong proficiency in statistical software such as Stata, R, or Python, alongside data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Citizenship or permanent residency in an Evidence Action WCA country (Nigeria, Cameroon, Cote d'Ivoire, Liberia) with full work authorization.
- Exceptional communication skills with fluency in English; French proficiency is a strong advantage.
