About the Role
PHR Solutions Limited is seeking a smart, proactive, and technology-driven Associate Counsel with 2 to 5 years of post-call experience to join a leading commercial law firm in Lagos. We are looking for a dynamic lawyer who combines strong legal fundamentals with sharp commercial awareness, personal initiative, and technological fluency. Key Responsibilities- Draft, review, and negotiate complex corporate and commercial agreements, contracts, and legal documentation.
- Conduct thorough legal research and provide actionable, commercially sound legal advisory services to diverse clients.
- Ensure comprehensive regulatory compliance across various sectors of the global and Nigerian economy.
- Leverage legal technology, AI tools, and digital workflows to optimize case management and service delivery.
- Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and structured professional processes to maintain high standards.
- Maintain excellent responsiveness, organization, and meticulous attention to detail on all client matters.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of post-call experience in a recognized commercial law firm.
- Strong legal drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of corporate law.
- Demonstrated technological fluency, including strong command of Microsoft Office and emerging legal AI tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a client-centric, commercially minded approach.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Possession of a valid driver's license, driving ability, and access to a vehicle will be a strong added advantage.
