About the Role
Dermaoaks Aesthetics and Laser Clinic is a premier, women-owned medical spa and clinical skincare practice based in Gbagada, Lagos. Founded and directed by Suzan Uduak Tunji, a professional medical aesthetician with a foundational academic background in Anatomy, the clinic specializes in evidence-based cosmetic care and scientific skin analysis. We are currently seeking a qualified Business & Employment Lawyer on a retainer basis to provide expert legal guidance, ensuring our operations comply with Nigerian labor laws and commercial standards.
Key Responsibilities- Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, contractor agreements, and commercial partnerships.
- Develop and update comprehensive HR policies and employee handbooks in alignment with Nigerian labor regulations.
- Advise management on employment-related legal matters, dispute resolution, and disciplinary procedures.
- Ensure corporate compliance with relevant local, state, and federal business regulations.
- Provide ongoing strategic legal counsel on business operations and risk management.
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and call to the Nigerian Bar (B.L).
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of active legal practice focusing on corporate law, commercial agreements, and employment law.
- Demonstrated experience in drafting and reviewing HR policies and business contracts.
- Strong understanding of Nigerian labor laws and employment regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
