About the Role
Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC, a leading financial services group in Nigeria and part of the Standard Bank Group, is looking for a dynamic professional to join our Corporate and Investment Banking division as an Associate, Advisory. In this pivotal role, you will play an essential part in supporting the origination, structuring, and successful execution of complex financial transactions for our diverse client base across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Adhere to risk, regulatory, and business control requirements to ensure full compliance across all corporate and investment banking activities.
- Build, review, and maintain sophisticated financial models to perform valuations and comprehensive financial analysis.
- Contribute to the financial and capital structuring of bespoke transactions by drafting accurate offering memorandums, term sheets, and legal agreements.
- Manage multiple workstreams across deal origination, structuring, and execution while coordinating internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop client networks and maintain regular contact to understand business drivers and provide innovative financial solutions.
- Prepare high-impact marketing presentations, pitch books, and roadshow materials for client engagements.
- Stay abreast of macroeconomic, market, and industry trends to generate valuable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience within the financial services or investment banking sector.
- Proficient understanding of core financial concepts, financial statement interpretation, ratio analysis, and financial modeling.
- Proven experience in drafting comprehensive client documentation, pitch books, and board materials.
- Strong grasp of financial legislation, regulations, and industry codes of practice in Nigeria.
