We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Testing Engineer to join our client's growing technical team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting electrical testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and documentation for a wide range of industrial electrical systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist senior engineers with HV, MV, and LV systems, transformers, protective relays, CT/PT, switchgear, motors, generators, UPS, and battery chargers.
- Support the troubleshooting of control panels, Motor Control Centers (MCCs), motors, generators, and distribution boards (DBs).
- Operate specialized electrical testing equipment including Megger, Omicron, and Primary Injection Test Kits accurately and safely.
- Prepare comprehensive test reports, technical logs, and commissioning documentation in compliance with industry standards.
- Perform on-site duties as required, demonstrating flexibility with extended working hours or shift schedules to meet project deadlines.
- Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Zero to two (0-2) years of relevant practical experience in electrical installation, testing, or maintenance.
- Foundational knowledge of electrical testing principles, power systems, and equipment commissioning.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive, hands-on approach to on-site engineering challenges.
- Good written and verbal communication skills for effective report writing and team collaboration.
