We are currently looking for a passionate and qualified Assistant Teacher (Montessori) to join our dynamic early years team at the Lekki Ajah campus, helping young children discover their potential in a nurturing and well-prepared learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the lead Montessori teacher in preparing and maintaining a clean, orderly, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Support individual and small group learning activities based on Montessori principles and curriculum.
- Monitor and record student progress, behavioral milestones, and developmental needs.
- Foster a warm, inclusive, and respectful classroom culture that encourages independence and curiosity in children.
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and proper supervision of students during classes, outdoor play, and school activities.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and school administration to support student success.
- Possession of a First Degree in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field.
- A recognized Montessori training certificate is strictly required for this position.
- Must reside within the Ajah axis or nearby environs for easy and punctual commuting.
- Demonstrated passion for teaching and nurturing young children in their formative years.
