About the Role
Preeminence International Montessori School is a vibrant, child-centered educational institution located in Ugwugo-Nike, Enugu, Nigeria. We are dedicated to providing standard early childhood and primary education in a supportive, structured environment. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant / Support Staff member to join our team, help nurture young learners, and contribute meaningfully to our school community. Please note that the successful candidate will be required to reside within the school premises.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Assistant and Support Staff member, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, engaging, and orderly learning environment for our pupils.
- Assist lead teachers in the classroom with daily instructional activities and lesson preparations.
- Provide attentive care, supervision, and support to young children throughout school hours.
- Help coordinate school activities, events, and daily routines smoothly.
- Foster positive relationships with pupils, encouraging discipline, curiosity, and good manners.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within learning spaces and school facilities.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who possess the right aptitude to support early childhood education in Nigeria.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Previous teaching or classroom support experience is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with Montessori education principles and methods is a distinct plus.
- Demonstrated leadership, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to reside on-site at our Ugwuogo-Nike, Enugu campus.
