We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Assistant Store Officer to join our Procurement and Store Unit. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining efficient inventory systems, supporting hospital operations, and ensuring that medical and administrative supplies are accurately tracked and readily available to healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming medical supplies, equipment, and general office inventory
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital inventory records using hospital management software
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in generating timely procurement requests to prevent stockouts
  • Conduct routine physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with system records
  • Issue approved materials and supplies to various hospital departments efficiently
  • Ensure proper organization, cleanliness, and safety compliance within the storage facilities
Qualifications
  • Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Business Studies or a related field
  • Relevant post-qualification experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or procurement
  • Must be fully ICT compliant with proficiency in spreadsheet software and database management
  • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced multidisciplinary healthcare environment
  • Possession of relevant professional certifications or registration with regulatory bodies where applicable
