About the Role
Proten International is recruiting a dynamic and experienced Assistant Operations Manager – Manned Guarding on behalf of our esteemed client in the security sector. In this vital role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining exceptional security standards, overseeing field deployments, and ensuring that our client's assets and personnel are fully protected through rigorous operational excellence and proactive management.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily manned guarding operations, deployments, site supervision, and overall service delivery across assigned locations.
- Ensure strict compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), post orders, company policies, service standards, and ISO requirements.
- Manage key client relationships, proactively resolve complaints, and provide expert security advisory support.
- Conduct comprehensive security risk and threat assessments while recommending effective mitigation measures.
- Lead incident investigations, direct emergency responses, and implement timely corrective actions.
- Supervise Operations Coordinators, Patrol Supervisors, Contract Managers, and frontline security operatives.
- Monitor team performance, enforce discipline, and support continuous training, induction, and staff development.
- Prepare detailed operational reports and track service performance metrics across multiple sites.
- Support the Sales team with pre-sales security assessments, technical proposals, and operational requirements to drive business growth and client retention.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Security Management, Criminology, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of proven experience in security operations, specifically within manned guarding and physical security.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years in a supervisory or management capacity handling multi-site security teams.
- Strong working knowledge of guarding operations, risk assessment methodologies, and emergency response planning.
- Demonstrated expertise in client relationship management and operational procedure development.
- Relevant professional security certifications will be considered a distinct advantage.
