About the Role
Mandilas Group Limited, a multi-sector organization renowned for delivering first-class international products and services, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant MEP Manager. In this role, you will support the MEP Manager in coordinating department activities, driving business development, and ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing projects are executed profitably, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the MEP Manager in coordinating all activities and operations within the MEP department.
- Identify new business opportunities for MEP products and services to ensure revenue growth and meet financial targets.
- Manage project enquiries, conduct site inspections, and prepare accurate cost analyses, quotations, and designs.
- Coordinate vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Develop programs of work, work method statements, job hazard analyses, and shop or as-built drawings.
- Ensure timely acknowledgement of inquiries within 24 hours and delivery of detailed site reports post-inspection.
- Organize team and vendor training sessions focusing on job induction, safety protocols, and cost control.
- Monitor material procurement and installation processes to guarantee timely project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- First degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of cognate experience in MEP construction, building services, and subcontracting.
- Relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of MEP conceptual design, energy efficiency, performance contracting, commissioning, and BIM/green building standards.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
