About the Role
Pad-Up Creations is the leading African producer of washable and reusable sanitary pads, dedicated to providing sustainable menstrual hygiene solutions for rural and low-income women and girls. We are currently seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and dynamic Assistant Manager - Operations to oversee day-to-day operations, lead floor activities, and optimize resource efficiency at our Minna facility. Note that relocation to Minna, Niger State is strictly required for candidates living outside the area.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and manage balanced shift schedules to meet production targets and minimize operational downtime.
- Directly supervise floor teams to ensure active productivity, strict discipline, and high output quality.
- Monitor raw material inventory usage to eliminate waste, prevent stock shortages, and track human resource utilization metrics.
- Ensure prompt and accurate logging of operational updates, production records, and KPIs into company systems.
- Enforce strict adherence to internal company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and health and safety regulations.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in operations management, production supervision, or workforce management.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Management, or a related field.
- Strong command of operations management systems, ERP software, and shift scheduling tools.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead diverse teams, resolve conflicts, and enforce accountability.
- Must be willing to reside in or relocate to Minna, Niger State.
