About the Role
Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, a prominent leader in the FMCG sector and the producer of the trusted flagship brand Golden Penny, is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager, Marketing to join our team in Lagos. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving brand awareness, customer loyalty, and volume growth through innovative sales, marketing, and brand-building strategies tailored to the Nigerian market.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Assistant Manager, Marketing, you will manage comprehensive marketing initiatives and B2B sales strategies across assigned categories. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Conducting market research and generating actionable insights to develop and execute effective regional category plans for B2B sales.
- Owning, activating, and managing events and promotional activities in collaboration with the sales team to drive value creation and achieve sales objectives.
- Strengthening existing B2B sales channels and developing new adjacent channels through data-driven strategies.
- Monitoring marketing budgets and ensuring efficient expenditure allocation to maximize return on investment, volume, and profitability.
- Overseeing the design of promotional materials to enhance brand awareness, trial, preference, and consumer loyalty.
- Measuring and reporting the performance of all sales and marketing events against set KPIs and ROI targets.
- Supporting the development and deployment of insight-driven Above-the-Line (ATL) marketing communications.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity at Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline.
- Have at least 3 years of relevant sales and marketing experience within the FMCG industry, with a strong preference for redistribution sales background.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication, negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in leveraging data insights to optimize trade execution.
