About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and hands-on Assistant Manager to support our warehouse operations in Lagos. In this role, you will play a vital part in coordinating daily activities, supervising floor staff, and ensuring that our supply chain and dispatch processes run efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Warehouse Operations Manager in daily coordination and workflow management.
  • Supervise warehouse staff, allocate tasks, and monitor task completion on the floor.
  • Coordinate sorting, picking, packing, and accurate preparation of orders for prompt dispatch.
  • Oversee the receiving, arrangement, and movement of goods within the facility.
  • Assist with regular stock counts, inventory tracking, and reporting discrepancies or damaged goods.
  • Liaise with couriers and logistics personnel to ensure smooth dispatch operations.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety requirements, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and overall productivity.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment at all times.
  • Prepare basic daily operational reports and assist in resolving customer or order issues.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or retail management.
  • Previous supervisory or team-leading experience is a distinct advantage.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage a team.exceptional attention to detail regarding inventory and order accuracy.
  • Basic computer literacy for maintaining simple digital operational records.
  • Must reside within Baruwa, Ayobo, Ipaja, or immediate environs.
