About the Role
Homeland Integrated Offshore Services Limited is a leading indigenous multidisciplinary organization delivering comprehensive Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (EPCI) services to the Nigerian oil and gas sector. We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Materials Lead to direct our material management operations and ensure the timely delivery of critical project resources.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the end-to-end materials management process, including procurement, warehousing, inventory control, and logistics for offshore and onshore projects.
- Develop and implement robust material tracking systems to minimize waste, prevent stockouts, and ensure optimal stock levels.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate favorable supply contracts, and evaluate supplier performance against quality and timeline benchmarks.
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies, industry standards, and Nigerian local content regulations across all material operations.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, project management, and procurement teams to align material availability with project schedules.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on inventory status, supply chain bottlenecks, and budget expenditures for executive review.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 to 8 years of proven experience in materials management, specifically within the Nigerian oil and gas or maritime sector.
- Deep understanding of EPCI project workflows and offshore logistics.
- Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and advanced inventory management tools.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
