Greenland University, Jalingo, the premier private university in Taraba State, Nigeria, is seeking a passionate and qualified academic professional to join our Faculty of Allied Health Science as an Assistant Lecturer in Public Health. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in Public Health and related courses.
- Conduct impactful academic research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Supervise undergraduate student projects, research activities, and academic assignments.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and faculty committees.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students.
- Contribute to community outreach programs and institutional advancement initiatives.
- Possession of a Master’s Degree in Public Health or a closely related relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Evidence of ongoing registration or enrollment for a PhD program.
- Minimum of 1 year of teaching or research experience in a tertiary institution.
- Must have at least 2 peer-reviewed journal publications.
- ICT proficiency with demonstrable competence in digital learning tools and academic software.
- Active membership in relevant professional bodies.
- Compulsory possession of an NYSC discharge certificate or valid exemption certificate.
