We are currently seeking a passionate, qualified, and dynamic Assistant Lecturer in Physics to join our vibrant academic community and contribute to the foundational science education of our nursing students.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver well-structured and engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratory sessions in Physics to nursing science students.
- Develop, review, and update course materials, syllabi, and curriculum content in alignment with accredited educational standards.
- Prepare, administer, and grade quizzes, tests, assignments, and semester examinations promptly and fairly.
- Provide academic counseling, mentorship, and guidance to students to support their academic success and professional growth.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, academic committees, and institutional events or community service initiatives.
- Conduct relevant academic research and contribute to scholarly publications within the field of Physics and allied health sciences.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree or equivalent in Physics or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited tertiary institution.
- Possession of a Master's degree or enrollment in a postgraduate program will be considered a distinct advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and effectively to diverse groups of students.
- Strong interpersonal skills, high ethical standards, and a passion for teaching and student mentorship.
