About the Role
Meadowlands School is a reputable co-educational Private Christian Institution catering to children aged 15 months to 18 years. Founded in June 2014 by Apostle Goodheart and Pastor Bimbo Ekwueme, our mission is to deliver a balanced, comprehensive educational curriculum aimed at the holistic development of every child intellectually, spiritually, and socially. We are currently looking for a passionate and tech-savvy Visual Arts Teacher to join our esteemed team of educators and administrators for the upcoming academic session.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, curriculum-compliant visual arts lessons tailored to various age groups from preschool through secondary school.
- Foster a creative, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages artistic expression and exploration.
- Guide students in developing fundamental art techniques, art history appreciation, and critical thinking skills regarding visual media.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support individual artistic growth.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to integrate art projects with broader school themes and Christian values.
- Maintain art studio equipment and ensure a safe, organized working environment for all students.
- Must be comfortable teaching art content relevant to your field of study with a proven creative portfolio.
- Must be an avid learner who is open to continuous personal and professional growth.
- Must possess a natural ability to build functional, positive relationships with children and teenagers.
- Must be well-spoken, highly articulate, and tech-savvy with experience in digital art tools or modern educational technology.
- Possession of a relevant degree in Fine Arts, Education, or a related discipline is required.
