Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratory sessions in Pharmacology and Toxicology to undergraduate students.
  • Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and curriculum content in alignment with university standards and professional body requirements.
  • Design, administer, and grade assessments, examinations, and laboratory reports while providing constructive feedback to students.
  • Conduct independent and collaborative scientific research leading to publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
  • Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students to support their overall professional development.
  • Participate actively in departmental meetings, committee works, curriculum reviews, and university community service initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Pharmacology, Toxicology, or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
  • Demonstrated potential for or a track record of academic research and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills suited for academic environments.
  • Membership in relevant professional bodies will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in modern teaching methodologies and digital learning platforms.
