About the Role
Vision University is a newly established, private, faith-based university located in Ikogbo Town, Ogun State, Nigeria. Granted its provisional operating licence by the National Universities Commission (NUC) in 2023 and mentored by Lagos State University (LASU), we are committed to upholding the highest academic and moral standards. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Lecturer in Nursing Science to inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratory sessions for undergraduate Nursing Science students.
- Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and curriculum content in line with NUC guidelines.
- Assess and evaluate student coursework, examinations, and clinical practicals, providing constructive feedback.
- Engage in impactful research, scholarly publications, and community development initiatives.
- Act as an academic advisor and mentor to undergraduate students, guiding their academic and professional journeys.
- Participate in departmental meetings, committee work, and university accreditation exercises.
- Candidates must possess a good Master's degree in Nursing Science or a closely related discipline with a CGPA suitable to qualify the candidate for a Ph.D. programme.
- Demonstrated potential for teaching, research, and academic leadership.
- Current registration and valid practicing license with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
